Fighter Escort Wings P51D Mustang Kit #020 is a 2/3 scale composite replica of the WW2 fighter. This airplane is sold as a project, almost ready to be signed off. It has already been taxied but requires minor work for completion. The cockpit closely resembles the original P51. Powered by professionally hand built, blue printed & dyno-tested small block Chevrolet 383 CI V8 & 440BHP with Whirlwind 4 blade prop. The builder flew NZ Air Force Mustangs but age took his medical before he finished this project. Hangared at KHIO just west of Portland, OR. Includes many spares. Available now.
